3M Scotch-Seal 2229 is black electrical insulating mastic tape produced by 3M. It has excellent dielectric characteristics and high adhesion to metals, plastic insulation and rubber. It is highly resistant to chemicals and UV radiation. Used for sealing and insulating elements of electrical networks. Also used for smoothing the surface of irregularly shaped connections and uneven connections of electrical busbars.
