It includes an outer wrap for bobbin wound coils, banding arbor wound coils, lead pad hold downs, end turns and lead anchors, as well as connections. This tape is 600V rated and withstands a temperature range of 0 to 150 &deg;C.  3M&trade; Tape 79 has a pressure sensitive, <a href=\"https:\/\/tml.lt\/en\/encyclopedia\/acrylic-adhesive\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Acrylic adhesive is a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) layer based on acrylic polymers. It can be based on solvents or water emulsions.\" class=\"encyclopedia\">acrylic adhesive<\/a> that offers optimized adherence and resists edge tears. This conformable tape is solvent resistant and has a glass cloth backing that will not shrink, burn or rot while ensuring maximum stability. The printable tape is designed for banding and strapping applications. It provides excellent absorption of varnishes and resin. UL Listed and <a href=\"https:\/\/tml.lt\/en\/encyclopedia\/rohs\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive 2002\/95\/EC on the restriction of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The RoHS Directive initially limited the use of six hazardous substances, including lead, mercury and cadmium. The RoHS Directive came into force on July 1, 2006.
