REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical substances. Regulated by EU Directive 1907\/2006, which came into force on 1 June 2007 and replaced previous EU chemical standards. REACH imposes obligations on companies operating in the EU regarding the substances they produce, import, supply and\/or use. These requirements are administered by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).<\/p>\n
