JESD 625B

JESD 625B – Requirements for handling electrostatic discharge (ESD) sensitive devices. This standard establishes minimum requirements for ESD control methods and materials used to protect electronic devices that may be damaged by ESD. Developed by the JEDEC group.

Kapton

Kapton is the brand name for DuPont polyimide film material with silicone adhesive. A special feature is the wide temperature range from -73 to +260°C. Details about the material and product options are here.

label

Label is a functional part of a self-adhesive material, consisting of a face material and an adhesive. Most often it has a rectangular shape, but any shape can be cut.

laminate

Laminate (Overlaminate) is a transparent material that is applied to the surface of the label for additional protection from harsh environmental conditions. The laminate helps preserve the label and provides additional durability.
