film

Film is acetate, polyester, polyethylene, vinyl or other polymer facing material that is made from synthetic polymers with high molecular weight. Aligned homogeneous non-fibre synthetic label material.

final adhesion

Final adhesion is the maximum adhesion force achieved by the adhesive after N amount of time has passed. This time period is specified by the manufacturer as the minimum required to achieve the stated adhesion characteristics. Determined by the force required to remove the tape sample from the surface after an extended period of time.

fire resistance

Flame Resistance is the ability of a material to withstand flame exposure. Fire-resistant (self-extinguishing) materials may burn when exposed to a flame, but will not continue to burn once the flame is removed. When evaluating fire resistance, many important factors including burning rate, smoke density, smoke toxicity, and molten material droplets are considered.
