Self-amalgamating cold vulcanization rubber tapes
When wound, the layers of tape form a continuous layer of rubber without air bubbles with exceptional insulating properties. Very elastic, comfortable to work with. They are used for insulating cable connections operating at voltages from 600 V to 69 kV, for repairing cable sheaths, sealing cable couplings, protecting cable line components from moisture and corrosion. Chemically and moisture resistant, corona resistant. Use temperature: from -40 to +90°C, briefly up to 130°C. It is important to wind the tapes with strong tension to eliminate voids and better adhesion – see the instructions for details.

Scotch 23 – 0.76mm thick rubber tape. Contains a release liner that separates during winding and prevents contamination of the tape surface during installation.
Scotch 130C – 0.76mm thick rubber tape. Without separation liner. Has high thermal conductivity to remove heat from insulated wire connections. It does not propagate combustion, that makes it possible to use it to restore the outer sheath during the operational repair of cables.
Scotch 2228 – 1.65mm thick rubber-mastic tape. Self-extinguishing, does not support combustion. The large thickness allows you to quickly increase the diameter and level the surface. Convenient for repairing damaged outer sheath of continuous insulated cable in sections up to 50mm long.
