Reclosable fasteners „hook and loop“ (Velcro) 3M Scotchmate™
“Hook and loop” reclosable fasteners are an industrial version of well known textile “Velcro” made from heat and wear-resistant polymers. When closing, a lot of small hooks on one side are attached to the flexible loops on the other side. To open, simply lift one side of the product. This form of fastening is especially effective for bonding flexible materials (fabric covers, cushions, etc.), and also when it is necessary to repeat operation of attachment and detachment frequently.
Applications:
Commercial premises design details, that often have to be reinstalled. Replacement covers and seat covers in airplanes and public transport. Adjustable straps. Removable plastic curtains in refrigerators.
