Self-adhesive tapes, labels, flags for thermal transfer printers
Tapes and flags – fast and economical way of marking wires and cables. They are made from segments of self-adhesive tape or labels of elongated shape. Only the method of gluing is different:
– The tapes are wrapped around the cable. It is convenient for marking a cable with a diameter of more than 6 mm with a small amount of information being placed. The markers are compact, which allows them to be used with a limited space between the wires.
– Flags are folded across the cable. This provides a lot of space for information regardless of the diameter of the cable. The disadvantage of the method is that the appliqué requires carefulness. The problem is solved by using flags or automatic applicators foldable along the perforation lines with significant marking volumes.

For reliable fixation of the marker on the wire, film materials with enhanced adhesion are used:
– 41544 – Polypropylene (PP). Operating temperature from -20 ° С to + 60 ° С.
– 3178 – Polyester (PET). Operating temperature from -40 ° С to + 160 ° С.
– 5203 – Elastic nylon. Operating temperature from -40 ° C to + 145 ° C (short-term cooling to -196 ° C is permissible).
– 5146 – Heat resistant polyimide (PI). Operating temperature -40 ° C to + 320 ° C.
For good quality and reliable printing, we recommend Resin R303 ribbon. The width of the ribbon should be several mm more than the width of the label roll to minimize the wear of the thermal print head of the printer.
