Nylon is a durable plastic that can be used as a film with high resistance to oil and gas. Also used as a thread in strapping tapes with a high degree of mechanical strength.

Outgassing can occur in some plastics and insufficiently dried paints, resulting bubbles and poor adhesion of films that are applied to an outgassing surface.

Pb free means “Does not contain lead” (Pb – Latin Plumbum). Electrical and electronic parts and components that contain less than 0.1% lead by weight (either in any raw material or in the final product) and which also comply with the ROHS Directive 2002/95/EC regarding limiting lead content.

Perforation is a series of small incisions made into a label and/or backing to facilitate folding or tearing along a specific line.

A permanent adhesive is an adhesive layer that has relatively high final adhesion to a wide range of surfaces. The label either cannot be peeled off without destroying it or significant force is required to peel it off.
