Facestock is any material, including paper, synthetic film, fabric or foil, to which a top coating and adhesive layer are applied.

Fan Fold

Fan Fold is the folding of continuous backed self-adhesive labels or non-adhesive tags in a zigzag pattern to form a flat stack distinctly from a cylindrical roll.

Film is acetate, polyester, polyethylene, vinyl or other polymer facing material that is made from synthetic polymers with high molecular weight. Aligned homogeneous non-fibre synthetic label material.

final adhesion

Final adhesion is the maximum adhesion force achieved by the adhesive after N amount of time has passed. This time period is specified by the manufacturer as the minimum required to achieve the stated adhesion characteristics. Determined by the force required to remove the tape sample from the surface after an extended period of time.
