Polyester, abbreviated PET. Durable film with good resistance to moisture, solvents, oils and many other chemicals.

Polyethylene, abbreviated PE. Extruded durable stretch film with limited resistance to high temperatures, but good barrier properties to moisture.

Polyimide is a durable film that can withstand deformation and destruction at temperatures above 260 degrees Celsius for many hours. It is a stable base for polyimide labels.

Polymer is a complex and relatively large molecule obtained as a result of the reaction of a simpler component with itself.

Polymerization is a chemical reaction involving a catalyst, heat, light, or electron irradiation in which relatively small molecules are linked in chains to form a macromolecule.
