Regulated by EU Directive 1907/2006, which came into force on 1 June 2007 and replaced previous EU chemical standards. REACH imposes obligations on companies operating in the EU regarding the substances they produce, import, supply and/or use. These requirements are administered by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).
