Heat-shrinkable tubes with glue
They have an adhesive layer on the inner wall. As it shrinks, the adhesive inside the tube melts, filling the voids in the joint. The inner layer acts like a sealant, and after curing, glues the tube to the surface of the wire. For adhesive tubes, there are several compositions of the adhesive layer, and its amount (thickness) also differs. Various wall thicknesses.
